The Alamo ISSA is a chapter of the ISSA cyber security organization, dedicated to hosting multiple events throughout San Antonio for Cyber Security Professionals and Students. Alamo ISSA offers various benefits to its members, including professional networking, leadership opportunities, and the ability to stay updated on developments in information security. The organization also provides opportunities for professional development, earning CPEs/CPUs, and advancing the cybersecurity profession. Alamo ISSA's website goals include hosting content, enabling member registration, sign-ups, and event promotion, as well as tracking memberships and sending out email notifications. The organization's history includes being a five-time ISSA Chapter of the Year and its mission is to be the community of choice for international cybersecurity professionals.
