John F. Petrie III

President, The Petrie Group

Bio: John Petrie is the President of the Petrie Group and former Senior Vice President and the Counsellor to the NTT Global CISO at NTT Corporation. Concurrently, he was the Global Chief Information Security Officer for NTT Security Holdings, and the CEO, NTT Security (US) until May 2023.  Prior to his current position, he was the Global Chief Information Security Officer for NTT Security Corporation, responsible for the overall global information security strategy and the management of the information security management system (ISMS).  His current responsibilities include the design, implementation, and maintenance of the Global Enterprise Security Architecture Plan (ESA), harmonization of security technologies and standards across NTT’s portfolio of businesses, including security technology investment recommendations. He has created multiple security programs including the global zero-trust architecture for NTT.

He is an accomplished senior executive with more than 35 years of success in the manufacturing, financial services, defence, technology, security, telecommunications, education and healthcare industries. John consults with companies seeking guidance on decisions leading to opportunities, minimizing security breaches and identifying the needs of the vertical marketplace. His areas of expertise include information security strategy, information security policy development, risk management, analysis and mitigation, security compliance and enterprise information security operations.

Bio: Loren Davis is a cybersecurity professional with more than 20 years of experience, beginning his career as a Terminal Area Security Officer in the United States Marine Corps and then continuing on into the Aerospace, Intelligence, Defense, Energy, Healthcare, and Financial industries.

Josh Peltz

Bio: Josh Peltz is a successful cybersecurity executive with 20+ years of experience in emerging and disruptive technology solutions in cybersecurity, data and analytics and AI/ML. He's held security leadership positions at Duo Security, Cisco, ArmorCode, and currently is the VP of the West for Zero Networks, a leading microsegmentation provider.

Abstract: Josh has a unique distinction of having been on the “Miracle on the Hudson” Flight 1549 piloted by Captain "Sully" Sullenberger, opening the emergency exit door and helping his fellow passengers to safety. He's been highlighted on CNN, The New York Times, NY Post, LA Times, The Guardian UK, has appeared on The Dr. Phil show, The Oprah Winfrey show, and dozens of podcasts and keynotes in the years since. Josh is happy to share some of the events before, during and after the Miracle on the Hudson and has an engaging way of relating these experiences and lessons to what CISOs and Cybersecurity professionals contend with during critical incident responses.
